What's the symposium all about?
The Ohio Medical Marijuana Physicians Association (OMMPA) is hosting a virtual national medical symposium for medical professionals on June 28, 2026. This symposium will feature interactive accredited CME training sessions that explore the science behind medical cannabis.
It is noteworthy that the general US population is far ahead of the medical community in support for medical cannabis as a legitimate remedy for many conditions. This symposium will enable health care professionals to increase their knowledge about cannabis' proven efficacy and to have richer engagement with their patients.
Who should attend?
Members of the US medical community who are active in medical marijuana or who are interested to learn more about the science behind this emerging field. This includes doctors, PA's, nurses, office staff, and others.
What's the symposium format?
The symposium will be a live presentation of (2) one-hour topics and will be conducted virtually. Attendees will be able to ask questions at the end of each session
Getting CME credits for attending
At the conclusion of the symposium, all attendees will receive a link to complete an activity evaluation and claim the number of hours spent participating. All physicians from any US state will be awarded the number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM commensurate with the extent of their participation in the symposium. Other medical professionals will receive a Certificate of Attendance for the symposium and can request CME credits from their certifying organization.
